Ukraine v England - Tuesday September 10, 2013 (ITV 1, 19:45)

England face Ukraine for the third time in just over a year when they travel to Kiev on Tuesday. In the reverse fixture Ukraine came agonisingly close to pulling off a famous win at Wembley, only for a late Frank Lampard penalty to save England's blushes and earn them a point.

Ukraine were the last team to beat England in a qualification match with a 1-0 victory in 2009. They reached the World Cup quarter-finals in 2006 and are a match for any team on their day. England will have to be at their best if they want to get the three points that will keep them top of Group H.

A 1-1 draw is priced at 6/1 with Bet Victor, while England can be backed at 7/1 to come away with a 1-0 victory. Rickie Lambert is the 13/2 favourite to open the scoring on Tuesday, where as Frank Lampard can be found at 17/4 to mark his 100th appearance for The Three Lions with a goal.

Head To Head Record

England have played Ukraine a total of six times in their history, all of which have taken place since the turn of the 21st Century. England's first win was a straight forward 2-0 win in 2000, which was followed by a 3-0 victory four years later. The Three Lions recently came up against Ukraine in their World Cup 2010 qualifying group, beating them 2-1 at Wembley but then losing the return fixture 1-0. The teams met again at Euro 2012, with a Wayne Rooney goal separating the sides, before drawing 1-1 in their first World Cup 2014 qualification meeting.
