Fabio Capello

England Fabio CapelloThe England's side latest manager Fabio Capello has had the distinction of winning the domestic league titles with every club that he has managed during his career.

He caused controversy during his second tenure as manager of Real Madrid where he was criticised by the media and fans for not playing his world class players like David Beckham and Ronaldo on a regular basis, however during this season he silenced those critics by winning the La Liga title on the last day of the season, despite his success at Real he was sacked by the teams president; Ramon Calderon in the summer of 2007.

He was appointed the position of England manager in December 2007 and he announced that this would be his last managerial posting; he is on 30 month contract with an option for a 24 month extension. However there has been recent speculation that he could be making a move to Inter Milan following José Mourinho's exit to Real Madrid. Although Capello is contracted to be with England until 2010, there is a clause in his contract that allows an exit following the World Cup.

Since taking over as the England manager he has been succeeding with pretty much the same squad that the previous full time manager Sven Goran Eriksson had access to but has turned things around, qualifying for the World Cup with relative east and many England fans are hoping that Capello is the man to lead England to win the World Cup.
