England Football Captain - John Terry
The England Football Captain is described as the second most important job in the country behind the Prime Minister, that is slightly tongue in cheek but as John Terry found out last year there is a huge responsibility placed on the Captain. Fabio Capello dropped Terry following revelations of the player's private life, replacing the disgraced Chelsea star with Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand.
In an incredible u-turn, Capello reinstated Terry a week before England's Euro 2012 qualifyer with Wales, sparking a media frenzy due to the manner in which he dropped Ferdinand. Terry now has then responsibility of leading England to Euro 2012 glory, that's providing they qualify this time!
