2014 World Cup - Qualification Group H

England booked their place at the World Cup for the fifth time in succession after finished top of Group H. The Three Lions were pushed right to the wire by Ukraine but eventually finished one point above at the summit following back-to-back wins in their final two qualifiers. Ukraine will now attempt to qualify through the lottery of the play-offs.

The tricky group proved to be a very competitive with Montenegro and Poland right in the thick of things up until they were both defeated in the penultimate qualifiers. Montenegro led the way early on but in the end finished seven points adrift of England in third after failing to win any of their final five games.

Elsewhere Poland came fourth, while Moldova will be relatively happy with their final tally of 11 points which included a superb 5-2 win in Montenegro. Minnows San Marino finished the campaign rock-bottom without a single point to their name.
